In celebration of America 250 and honoring the Spirit of Fort Sullivan.

Before the Palmetto tree became the icon of South Carolina, there was the Liberty Flag. First raised by Colonel William Moultrie in 1775, this indigo-blue banner with its iconic silver crescent and bold "Liberty" inscription flew defiantly over Fort Sullivan during the Revolutionary War.

Our Liberty 1776 Heritage Belt breathes new life into this historic symbol. From the Betsy Ross flag we've added 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies, arranged in a circle representing unity and equality.  The crescent takes the place of 2 stars.  The color palette is a deep navy ribbon paired with crisp silver-white embroidery to honor the original colors of the 2nd South Carolina Regiment, and is backed with our signature color premium weave khaki canvas.  The fit is lightweight and breathable for all-day comfort.

Designed and produced exclusively by Charleston Belt.  Limited edition, it's the perfect companion piece for someone who already has the modern SC flag belt, or anyone who wants to honor the roots of the Palmetto State and/or the USA.
