The personalized version of the Citadel Days design highlights the landmarks, icons and experiences of college days at The Citadel. The base color for the belt is either dark navy or dark baby blue. The design features 5 standard motifs (Big Red, barracks with quad, Star-C athletics logo, 2nd Battalion, and the Ring), plus 3 personalized motifs to customize:
Choice of vintage (Spike) mascot or new mascot insignia
Company (first letter)
Class year (2 digits)
The construction is 100% hand-stitched needlepoint finished in premium dark brown leather and solid brass buckle. We have recently changed our standard buckle to be slightly larger based on customer feedback and current market trends. The buckle is still solid brass. Officially Licensed.
Personalized styles are are made-to-order products so please allow 10-12 weeks for construction. For correct fit, please measure carefully as custom purchases cannot be exchanged or refunded. The preferred method for belt fitting is measuring a well-fitting belt you already own. Lay the belt on a clean, flat surface, and stretch taut. Start the tape measure at the hole you use most often and measure to the end of the buckle. Our belts are measured in even sizes in inches and you should round up (larger) if in-between sizes. If no existing belt is available, add 3" to trouser waist size and round up (larger) if an odd number. For example, a size 34 pants waist will normally fit best in a size 38 needlepoint belt in our brand. While we cannot exchange or refund custom orders, we do offer a sizing service if your belt needs to be made longer or shorter over the lifetime of the belt.
