Warmer Weather Gear, or Colloquially, It's Time to "Burn the Socks"

Now that Spring is just around the corner it's a good time to move those warmer weather apparel more to the front of the closet and top drawers, and push the cooler weather apparel to the back.  In our vernacular we talk about time to "burn the socks".  That is, boat shoes, sandals, flip flops.  Also, less leather belts, more canvas and web belts, hats and caps to shield the sun.
